As we reflect on 2025, it is impossible not to acknowledge what a profound and emotional year it has been for Gough Financial Group. In May, we experienced the heartbreaking loss of our founder, Greg Gough. Greg was truly a people person. Someone for whom the phrase “to know him was to love him” could not have been more fitting.
Greg founded Gough Financial Group with a simple but powerful vision: build genuine relationships, treat every person with dignity and respect, and work side by side with clients to create strong, successful financial futures. He believed deeply that sound financial guidance should be rooted in trust and care, not in account size or net worth. That philosophy remains the cornerstone of who we are today.
We are incredibly honored to share that Gough Financial Group has once again received the Gold award for Wealth Management in the Wichita Eagle’s Best of Wichita contest. We are profoundly grateful for this recognition, not only because of the award itself, but because it reflects something far more meaningful, our clients’ trust. This honor tells us that our clients feel confident that we always have their best interests at heart, regardless of where they are in life’s financial journey.
This recognition is a testament to the strong foundation Greg built and the values he instilled in our firm. It is also a celebration of the remarkable clients we are privileged to serve. Our clients took the time to vote for us, and that means more than we can adequately express.
We can think of no better way to honor Greg’s legacy than by continuing the work he was so passionate about, serving every client with integrity, compassion, and respect, and carrying forward the vision he entrusted to us.
