Some of the best professional relationships have a way of beginning long before we realize where they might lead.
Shortly after college, I had the opportunity to be the head coach of a middle school baseball team. If you've ever spent time around a group of middle school boys, well, they’re middle school boys! Those boys were a swirling mixture of boundless confidence, questionable hygiene, and insatiable appetites. I accepted the opportunity because of my love of the game and because I thought I might have a thing or two to share with a group of young players.
One of those players was a young Chase Green.
It didn't take long for me to notice Chase. He was sharp, personable, determined, and comfortable talking with adults. Just as importantly, he was kind and compassionate toward his teammates. Even at that age, he was someone people enjoyed being around and could count on.
Years later, as Gough Financial Group has continued to grow, we've recognized the need to expand our team so we can continue serving our clients with the same personal attention and care they've come to expect from us. When Chase chose to study finance at Wichita State University, I remember thinking that his talents and personality could make him a great fit for what we do at Gough Financial Group.
That opportunity became a reality.
After nearly three years with Gough Financial Group in a support role, Chase has completed his registration exams and is now taking the next step in his career as a financial advisor, working directly with clients.
A graduate of Wichita State University with a degree in Finance, Chase brings a strong academic foundation along with nearly three years of hands on experience working alongside our advisors and clients. His time on the administrative side of the business has given him an invaluable perspective, not only on how we serve our clients, but on the people and families we have the privilege of serving.
We believe that experience, combined with Chase's character and genuine desire to help others, makes him a natural fit for our team and for the work we do.
We're excited to welcome Chase into his new role as GFG continues to grow.
